Fort Langley real estate office goes paperless

Re/Max Little Oak Reality now does all their work electronically

Going green is a trend many businesses are aspiring to, but a Fort Langley real estate office has taken it to a whole new level.

Re/Max Little Oak Realty reopened as a completely paperless office last month.

That means no stacks of paperwork stored away in boxes, no need for printers, and really, no need for an office. Everything is done electronically.

“This one is designed for more modern-day realtors with technology in hand,” said David Rishel, general manager. “They don’t need to have office space to be able to do their work there. They’re mobile warriors and they can better serve their clients wherever their clients happen to be all around the world.”

Fort Langley joins another Re/Max location in Surrey that has already gone the paperless route.

The office is very relaxed and feels more like going into a coffee shop than a formal real estate setting, Rishel said.

“It works well for the clients and it works well for the realtors,” he said.

“We believe the realtors see the value in what we’re offering them.

“They like it. It’s progressive, forward and there’s a bit of green value in it as well. It’s working out well.”
