The tenth annual Fraser Valley Wedding Festival takes place on Monday (March 2) at Cascades Casino Resort.

Like many Fraser Valley brides’ special day, the 10th annual Fraser Valley Wedding Festival will be here before they know it.

The festivities take place on Monday, March 2 at Cascades Casino Resort. This year’s event, which runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., will include more than 45 vendors, with specialties ranging from photography to cake making, wedding decorations, and wedding planning.

Among the Langley-based businesses that will participate this year are All Occasions Chic Decor Rental, Bliss Day Spa, Cascades Casino Resort, Everything But the Groom, Frosting Cupcakery, Nectar Lingerie Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty Boutique at Willoughby Town Centre, Stanton’s Fine Photography, and Blink Acro.

“I am so excited and proud to have made it 10 years,” said Tamara O’Brien, the event producer.

“It is just so much fun. I want brides to be able to meet, mingle, and sample.”

Visitors are invited to bring their friends, enjoy the many free samples of cake, food, and wine, and get the inspiration they need to make sure their wedding day is extraordinary in every way.

To celebrate the 10th year of the Fraser Valley Wedding Festival, all brides will be entered to win a free wedding valued at nearly $20,000, and all attendees also receive a free swag bag upon entry.

From the smallest ceremony to the grandest event, everything needed for a perfect day will be featured under one roof. Whether visitors are looking for Fraser Valley-based vendors for their wedding, or are simply interested in finding inspiration for that special day, they will leave the show feeling inspired and amazed by the variety of options available, said O’Brien.

Cascades Casino Resort located at 20393 Fraser Hwy. General Admission is $10 or free for brides, and can be purchased at the door. One dollar from every ticket sale will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.
