Shopping online is a whole lot spicier now with the launch of ‘Canada Q’, a new online store that specializes in Canada’s largest selection of hard-to-find barbecue ingredients and tools.
The new website, www.CanadaQ.ca, features barbecue sauces, seasonings, rubs and accessories made popular by award winning competitive barbecue teams throughout North America.
Developed by Canada’s 2011 national barbecue champions, Angie Quaale and David Gassaway, Canada Q offers a one stop shop for hard-to-find ingredients that will help turn the average Joe into a barbecue pro.
“It was our professional barbecue friends who originally inspired the idea for Canada Q. They were having trouble finding their favourite barbecue ingredients locally to use in competitions,” said Angie Quaale, an award winning barbecue pitmaster, founder of Canada Q and owner of Well Seasoned.
“So we built this website partly for them but also for regular folk who want to spice up their barbecue recipes with great ingredients they can buy easily from home and have shipped anywhere in Canada.”
Shopping categories on the new Canada Q website include rubs, accessories, sauces, pellets, charcoal and cookbooks.

The Canada Q headquarters is located at Well Seasoned, a gourmet food retailer and barbecue specialty store located in Langley. Well Seasoned is also the site of regular barbecue cooking classes and the BBQ on the Bypass, an annual barbecue competition that attracts thousands of BBQ enthusiasts every year.
