Open house for OpenRoad in Langley

New dealership invites public out for some wine, cheese and entertainment

OpenRoad Infiniti is holding an open house this weekend at their recently-opened Langley location.

The event, which runs Friday and Saturday (Sept. 7 and 8), will feature local wine, artisan cheeses and entertainment.

OpenRoad Infiniti opened its 19,000 square foot facility, which houses a luxury boutique featuring a six-vehicle showroom and a seven-vehicle service centre, in late July.

The dealership is located in the new luxury auto mall — Langley Auto Collection — and is situated next to another OpenRoad store, BMW/Mini Langley and Gold Key Audi, which is under construction.

Langley Auto Collection is at the corner of Glover Road and Langley Bypass.

OpenRoad Auto Group Ltd. president Christian Chia was also recognized with the 2012 innovator of the year award.

“The time for a better guest experience is something we at OpenRoad have been chasing in earnest for the last few years now,” Chia said in accepting the award.

“From a few new flagship LEED-certified facilities, to back-to-back top ten rankings as the Best Employer in Canada, our commitment to improving the guest experience is receiving recognition, and I am thrilled to accept this on behalf of OpenRoad.”

“Innovation in the category of automotive retailing is a challenging endeavour,” he added.

“With a significant commitment to improved guest facilities, customer events, more open customer dialogue, both online and in-store, OpenRoad is standing out as a modern car retailer.”
