Politicians set to speak at March Chamber meeting

Elected officials will share what is being done to improve Langley City and Township

What are the elected officials doing to improve Langley?

That is the topic of discussion at the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce’s dinner meeting on March 17.

The Chamber welcomes MP Mark Warawa, Fort Langley-Aldergrove MLA Rich Coleman, Langley MLA Mary Polak, as well as Township Mayor Jack Froese and City Mayor Ted Schaffer.

They will be there to discuss what they are doing to improve both the City and the Township.

“We are very excited to host a panel of elected officials at our March dinner meeting who will each give an update on what projects they are involved in that are helping to enhance both the City and Township of Langley,” said Kristine Simpson, the Chamber president.

The meeting will take place at Cascades Casino Resort Ballroom (20393 Fraser Hwy.) with networking from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and dinner and presentations to follow.

Cost to attend is $35 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members. Registration closes March 13 at 5 p.m. To register, call 604-530-6656 or go to www.langleychamber.com.
