A pair of workshops are being offered this month which focus on volunteer development, with an emphasis on recruiting and protecting volunteers.
The first seminar, Recruitment, Recognition and Retention is on May 6 and the second, Protecting Your Volunteers & Organization runs May 27.
Both are being held at the Langley Seniors Resources Society (20615 51B Ave.) by the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce and are sponsored by Envision Financial.
Cost for each seminar is $35 for Chamber members and $45 for non-Chamber members and includes a continental breakfast.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the workshop from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
