The Langley Breastfeeding Challenge takes place this Saturday, Oct. 1 in Langley, supported by Fraser Health.
The purpose of the event is to increase public awareness of the normality of breastfeeding, the benefits to mother and child, and the ways in which women need support to achieve the recommended duration of breastfeeding.
The event takes place at the Willoughby Early Years Centre at 20766 80th Ave.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and "Latch On" is at 11 a.m. sharp.
All family members are welcome along with breastfeeding mothers.
