Help paint a mosaic tile and be part of a national art project.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Langley City is hosting tile painting. People can book up to one hour slots to decorate a tile. The tiles will then be assembled to create a local mosaic that will be displayed in City hall.

The local project needs 500 tiles painted, and anyone two years of age and older can participate.

Painting time slots are available between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. May 1, 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on May 3 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 3.

Participation is free but people must call 604-514-2940 to book a time.

A total of 150 communities across Canada are participating in this creative art project to mark the nation’s 150th birthday.
