“The first annual North Otter Artisan Market was a huge success,” said participant Jim Nichols.
He gave a shout-out to the North Otter Elementary Parents Advisory Council for putting on “this amazing family event.”
The weather was cooperative, he noted, adding, “With over 70 vendors on site selling various arts and crafts, and home-based businesses, attendees had their fill of selection,” he said. “The whole soccer field was full of people buying and selling.”
The associated show ‘n’ shine event also had “over 50 muscle cars and tractors in our parking lot for the car enthusiasts.”
For the families, there were a petting zoo, pony rides, a bouncy castle balloon animals, face-painting, and live music.
JD Farms and Bonetti Meats supplied the concession.
This year’s success bodes well for another great event next year, Nichols indicated.
