Plenty of fun in Langley for Family Day

From sitting in a Snowbird jet, to swimming, skating and jumping on bouncy castles, their is fun for the whole family.

Sumo wrestling for kids was a big hit at last year's Fraser Valley Family Day events at Langley Events Centre's fieldhouse. This year's day has even more events to see and do.

There is no shortage of fun, free (or by donation) events for the whole family in Langley on Family Day.

The second annual Fraser Valley Family Day takes place at Langley Events Centre with kids' games, activities, the Rivermen game and a public skate with the hockey players after.

All the skating rinks in Langley have free public skates. Free swimming is being offered at the pools. Check with each facility for times.

The Museum of Flight is inviting families to come for hot apple cider and the chance to sit in a Snowbird jet. The Langley Centennial Museum has events including a scavenger hunt. Next door the Historic Fort has Family Day events of yesteryear. Willowbrook Mall is hosting Peace Play day, involving Lego.
