St. Joseph's parish holds Christmas dinner

Langley City church invites singles, seniors and those in need to its free Christmas Day turkey dinner. Rides will be provided if needed.

St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Parish will again host a Christmas dinner for people in need, seniors and those who are alone at Christmas.

The event is free to anyone wishing to come, and the parish is aiming to serve 200 dinners on Christmas Day, which will be on a Wednesday this year.

Doors will open at the parish hall, 20676 Fraser Hwy., at  4 p.m. for drinks and socializing, and a hot turkey dinner will be served at 5 p.m. The event is put on by volunteers.
