Despite the rainy weather on Friday, hundreds came out to the Kwantlen First Nation soccer fields to celebrate their annual first salmon ceremony.
The May 5 event, based on ancient Kwantlen traditions, included a blanket ceremony, traditional drumming and a salmon feast.
