The Burnaby Writers’ Society annual province-wide contest is now accepting submissions, with this year’s theme “400 Years Since Shakespeare.”

The Burnaby Writers’ Society annual province-wide contest is now accepting submissions, with this year’s theme “400 Years Since Shakespeare.”

The theme can be interpreted as broadly and imaginatively as the writer wishes.

Prizes are $200, $100 and $50, plus honourable mention.

Entries must be a maximum one page in length, with title, author’s name and email address or phone number written on the reverse.

The entry fee is $10 for one entry and $25 for three entries. Mail entries along with cheque or money order to Burnaby Writers’ Society, 6584 Deer Lake Ave., Burnaby B.C. V5G 3T7 by July 31.
