Each week, they have taken on a series of grueling intelligence tests.

According to his bio on the Canada’s Smartest Person website, Vander Hoek has bachelor of arts degree from Trinity Western with a double minor in chemistry and music, as well as a bachelor of education from Simon Fraser University.
