The Watoto Children’s Choir is returning to Canada with the production entitled Oh What Love! with its first stop in Langley on June 11 and 12, then back again on June 16 and 17. The performances are all at local churches, including the Grove Church, Christian Life Assembly, Walnut Grove Lutheran Church, and Church of the Valley.

The choir has been performing in venues across the country since January, and will wrap up its tour in July. The full tour schedule can be viewed at www.watoto.com/the-choir/see-the-choir.

Through what they call a “dynamic worship experience,” the choir – made up of children who were once orphans – share their journeys.

Since 1994, the Watoto Children’s Choir has travelled around the world sharing the plight of Africa’s orphaned and vulnerable. Each of the children in the choir has suffered the loss of one or both of their parents but they have been rescued and now live in a Watoto village.

Their Concerts of Hope’ are held in churches, community halls, schools and other venues.

They have performed before presidents and royalty in the White House, Buckingham Palace, and national parliaments. They also performed at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Pageant in the U.K.
