Roots duo, The Small Glories are making their way from Winnipeg to Langley to perform at the Bez Arts Hub.

Cara Luft and JD Edwards make up the singer-songwriter duo that originated on the Manitoba prairie.

The musicians describe themselves as a ‘study in contrasts,’ as Luft’s folk tunes are a perfect match for Edwards’ rock-style.

Luft plays the banjo and Edwards plays the guitar.

Their debut album titled Wondrous Traveler was released in 2016. The album was nominated for two Canadian Folk Music Awards and hit the Top 10 lists of many critics across North America and Europe. The pair’s next album is scheduled to be released in February 2019.
