Fort Gallery presents Rolo Preza on First Thursday

Event will feature performances by Central American percussionist and Fort Langley violinist Emily Thornton and a talk by Kristin Krimmel

Percussionist Rolo Preza will perform at Fort Gallery on March 5 as part of the gallery's First Thursday event.

On the first Thursday of each month the Fort Gallery in Fort Langley hosts a variety of visual artists, writers and poets, and musicians from the community who will share their gifts and creations.

The March ‘First Thursday’ event will be held tonight (March 5), from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. when the gallery will host well-known Vancouver-based vocalist and percussionist Rolo Preza.

Originally from El Salvador, Preza has brought his passionate and energetic performance to many Vancouver bands and has toured throughout North America and Europe.

The evening will also feature Fort Langley’s own violinist, Emily Thornton, and an artist’s talk by Kristin Krimmel, who is currently exhibiting at the Fort Gallery.
