Can you sing, dance, play an instrument or, perhaps, juggle?
Do you have a knack for making people laugh? Are you skilled at flipping and tumbling or maybe you can twist your body into all kinds of unlikely looking knots?
In short — do you have talent?
The fourth annual Langley Has Talent competition is just around the corner and organizers are once again looking for performers and entertainers in the widest possible range of skill sets to take part. Auditions will be held on Feb. 8 and 9 and Feb. 15 and 16 at Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Langley campus.
Deadline to register is Jan. 31.
Once selected, competitors will be vying, over two nights, for a top cash prize of $2,500, a second place prize of $1,500 and a third place prize of $1,000 in addition to a range of industry prize packages.
Semi-final competition will be held on Saturday, March 29, with the top acts, selected by a panel of judges, moving on to compete in the finals on Saturday, April 12. Both events will be held at Christian Life Assembly.
The annual talent competition, presented co-operatively by the Rotary Clubs of Langley, is intended both as an opportunity for local performers to gain valuable exposure as well as to publicize the need for a dedicated performing arts centre in the Langleys. To register for an audition, go to
