A love of travelling and passion for the outdoors has turned into a career for a Langley-raised woman.

Desirée Patterson, who grew up in Langley, is a Vancouver-based contemporary photographer.

From Nov. 15 to 18, Patterson’s studio at 224-1000 Parker St., Vancouver, will be featured in the 2018 Eastside Culture Crawl.

The basis of her art revolves around advocacy for environmental protection and preservation.
