April and May in Langley will be filled with the sounds of music at various venues.
The Kiwanis Fraser Valley Music Festival happens over a few weeks, and is open to the public. Most of the festival takes place at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Langley campus.
Hosted by the Kiwanis Clubs of White Rock and Clearbrook, the festival attracted more than 6,500 participants, young people and adults. The festival offers expert adjudicators providing advice to performers. One of its goals is to support music education through bursaries and scholarships.
It is one of the largest educational performing arts festivals in this province.
