Shot in the Dark returns for fall

Independent film nights run on Wednesdays at Colossus Cinema

Shot in the Dark independent film nights are back, as of Wednesday, Sept. 12 with its fall 2012 series.

The first film that will be screened is We Have a Pope, a story that imagines the various backstage machinations of the highly secretive process of selecting a new pontiff.

It is presented in Italian with English subtitles.

On Sept. 26, they will screen Where Do We Go Now? a rousing musical fable addressing the charged topic of religious differences in the Middle East.”

Oct. 10 is The Intouchables; Oct. 17, Middle of Nowhere and; Nov. 7, Beasts of the Southern Wild.

Tickets at the door $10; cash or cheque only; passes are five films for $40; passes are now available at Wendel’s in Fort Langley or at the theatre on film night.

All films are at Colossus theatres at 200 Street and 88 Avenue.  Start time is  7:30 p.m.
