Church in the Valley is bringing a dramatic family-friendly musical production to Langley on Friday, Dec. 15 and Saturday, Dec. 16.

The Christmas Toy Factory, written by Phil Spoelstra, is an entertaining musical filled with laughter, song and a colourful cast, that puts a unique spin on the story of Christmas.

The story is told through the eyes of a toy factory worker named Buddy.

As Christmas approaches, Buddy shares the true story of Christmas with a host of characters including his coworkers and Paul, the ambitious factory manager. Like many people, these hard workers are just trying to survive the busyness of the holiday season. In the last days leading up to Christmas, these characters become captivated by the story of Mary and Joseph, and the birth of Baby Jesus in Bethlehem.
