The Surrey Symphony Society is holding an open house for their youth orchestra programs on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to noon.
Stop by Surrey Christian High School, 15353 92 Ave. to hear selections from their spring repertoire by the junior strings, intermediate and senior orchestras.
Their musicians meet weekly to rehearse exciting and challenging repertoire in preparation for two annual concerts. Other actives include music camp weekend, chamber music programs, workshops, performance groups, scholarship opportunities and concerto competition.
Auditions for 2017/18 take place Mary 27 and June 3.
