Roadmen Car Club once again host a party during Langley’s charity car show

The Round Up takes over the area near Bob’s Bar and Grill in Aldergrove Saturday.

Cruise-In organizers have always ensured there was an array of entertainment during the car show to appeal to a wide audience.

The Roadmen Car Club takes over the parking lot of Bob’s Bar and Grill on the western side of Aldergrove from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Roadmen Round Up includes music courtesy of Rockabilly Jay and the Cadillac Bones with shows at noon and 2:30 p.m. Roadmen members will be bringing their hot rods and other afficiandos are invited to help fill the lot.

Pin-up girls will be on scene and lots of people are expected to ask to have their photos taken with the women who enjoy the vintage look of a bygone era.

Kelly Norwood, a pinstriper from Kelowna, returns this year.

“We’ll be striping people’s cars,” said Jay Peterson, the round-up organizer.

The pinstriper was at the round-up last year but rains meant he could only do some projects inside people’s vehicles.

The local Roadmen Club is expected to be joined by chapters from 100 Mile House, Kamloops and Kelowna.

“The boys from Washington State are supposed to be coming,” he added.

The Roadmen have been supporting Cruise-In for several years.
