Cruise-In attracted this consumer
Dear Editor,
Please support the Langley Cruise-In for 2017.
If it were not the Cruise-In’s venue, I would not have become as familiar with Langley that I am today.
As a result I shop and dine in Langley on a regular basis.

Victoria contingent bring bucks
Dear Editor,
I have attended this event from the very first one, I travel from Victoria with usually dozens of other participants, and we all stay at hotels for two nights, eat at the local restaurants, and make many purchases.
Cancelling this event will mean the loss of thousands of tax dollars being spent in Langley and the surrounding areas.

I would support the move no matter where it goes.

Keep show downtown
Dear Editor,
I just wanted to start off by saying you guys and girls [Cruise-In committee and volunteers] have put on a great show the past 20 years. Minus the one year it wasn’t put on.
My argument is that the night before has nothing to do with the Cruise-In.
It is not sanctioned, so if the City deems they need police it should be up to them to cover it.
I’ll tell you right now, if it does move to Aldergrove, is anyone going to cruise around there, no as there’s no place to go.
So all the people will converse to Langley.
Seems like they (City of Langley ) are out for cash.
The Cruise-In bring in huge revenue for local shops/ businesses during the three to four days.
We travel from Alberta to attend, this year we have approximately eight vintage cars and hotrods traveling out.
Might not be making the travel if it is moved to Aldergrove.
Is Aldergrove [Township of Langley] covering the policing cost?
Seems there small police force wouldn’t be able to handle that many extra people.
I hope they keep the show going, but it just won’t be the same in Aldergrove.
I lived in Langley for many years and regularly used to hang out at Tim Hortons on Logan Avenue.
Worked at Joe’s Equipment on Logan Avenue for 12 years, so I’m no stranger to the car show and the amount of participants/vendors and spectators that come to town.
Don’t get me wrong we love the Friday night festivities (Industrial Avenue) and know it’s not part of the car show.
It seems to have been grouped with it and that is/ has been the issue for years.
