One in custody after incident in Langley

Langley RCMP have one suspect in custody after an incident at a store in the 20200 block of 66th Avenue on Monday, April 29.

The incident appears to have been an attempted robbery, and a weapon was involved, said Cpl. Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP.

Police were called at about 1:45 p.m. and arrived soon after. They took one person into custody, and no one was hurt.

More information was expected to be released on Tuesday.
