“I feel energized and calm, all at the same time.”
Stepping in to Langley’s Infinite Serenity Holistic Spa, being surrounded by natural elements of moss, wood, air, water and spirit, you understand immediately how energy and calm coexist here.
Passing through the inviting entry and retail space, and into three private treatment rooms – turquoise, gold and peacock – each has its own feel and energy.
“We have space with intention. You walk into our space and you feel connected,” explains Infinite Serenity owner Stephany Brown.
You’ll also notice a variety of work from local artists and artisans, underscoring Brown’s vision for a space grounded in community. “It’s all about building community. This is a place you can call home.”
Believing that the right people manifest at the right time, Brown opened the doors with no additional staff, and today six talented, inspired professionals share her vision for Infinite Serenity Holistic Spa.
The first steps along your journey
So it is for those who visit, whether for a workshop or seminar, to book a treatment, or simply to learn more.
”Everyone who comes through the door is already on their path; we are here to help you along your journey – it’s inspiring,” Brown says.
Pet-friendly, and welcoming all members of the family – men, women and children – your visit begins with an individual consultation, a chance for your practitioner to hear what’s going on with you and guide you toward a customized treatment.
Offering a variety of wellness options, from chair massage and intuitive card readings to aromatherapy facials and hot stone treatments, Reiki, ‘Heaven & Earth’ and reflexology are among their most popular:
1. Reiki – This ancient Japanese technique reduces stress, increases relaxation and provides deep healing to the mind, body and soul. With balanced energy, you’ll feel deeply relaxed.
2. Heaven & Earth – Combining healing touch and fragrance to balance mind, body and soul, your mind clears, your body relaxes and your soul rejuvenates.
3. Reflexology – Following a soothing foot bath, this ancient Chinese holistic therapy works on reflexes within your feet to treat your whole body, inducing a deep state of relaxation, balance, harmony and increasing the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
“We have a menu and we can customize what it is you need,” Brown reflects. “Mind, body and soul, it’s aligning yourself with the right intention.”
Custom experiences are also available for groups of all ages, Brown says, recalling a recent 40th birthday party. While the host had visited before, her friends hadn’t. With each guest invited to choose two treatments from a specially created menu, they were awakened to a world of possibilities. “It’s creating that connection; it’s what we’re all about,” Brown says.
