The City of Langley paid three of its staff members more than $150,000 last year, recently released records reveal.
By law, the City must release an annual report containing the remuneration of every employee who was paid $75,000 or more in the previous year.
Topping the list was chief administrative officer Francis Cheung, who was paid $221,676 in 2015 and charged $5,725 in expenses to the City.
The next highest salary, $154,728, went to director of corporate services Darrin Leite. Close behind that was Rick Bomhof, director of engineering, parks and environment, who took home $152,243.
In all, there were 52 City employees who were paid $75,000 or more.
Mayor Ted Schaffer was paid $80,943 in addition to $5,470 in reimbursement of expenses and $3,072 in benefits.
Five of the six councillors were paid $33,726, with the late Coun. Dave Hall being paid $31,051.
Coun. Gayle Martin incurred the most expenses, at $6,509.
