Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce is partying outdoors this week.
Their second annual summer barbecue is happening today (Tuesday, July 15) and it will be an outdoor event – weather permitting, of course.
Barbecued burgers will be served up, along with a presentation by author, CEO, and consultant Darcy Rezac.
This meeting is being held at the Fort Langley Golf Course, 9782 McKinnon Cres. and pre-registration is mandatory at events@langleychamber.com or by calling 604-530-6656.
The barbecue begins with networking at 5 p.m., followed by the meal and evening festivities starting at 6:30 p.m.
During his presentation, Rezac will discuss The Connectedness Code, as he calls it. He has seven steps to developing a connected mindset.
He apparently speaks passionately about the importance of positive networking and what that could mean to business and life.
Rezac is CEO of Ana Pacific Consulting. He is a consultant, corporate director, author, international speaker, and adjunct professor of business at the University of Victoria. He is also a fellow of Royal Roads University and a former H Captain, RCN.  He has a client list of more than 100 Fortune 500 companies, universities, associations, embassies and government agencies on three continents.
The cost is $35 for chamber members, $50 for non-members to attend.
