Crime Roundup: Suspects flee nail salon, thief steals Gucci watch

The RCMP is seeking help identifying suspects in recent crimes.

Langley Mounties are looking for suspects in a number of thefts, including fleeing without paying for $200 worth of work at a nail salon.

On Dec. 21, two women had their nails done at a salon in the Willowbrook area and then left without paying, said Cpl. Holly Largy, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

Both women are in their 20s. The first woman is described as Caucasian, with a slim build, dark hair, and dark clothing. The second woman is mixed race, with medium-dark skin, a slim build, and had her hair pulled back into a ponytail.

Police are also looking for a man who stole a Gucci watch worth nearly $1,000 from the Golden Tree Jewellers in the Willowbrook Shopping Centre on Dec. 26. The man is slim, about 20 years old, and was wearing a white Jordan hoodie and white pants.

In an incident on Dec. 19, a man stole food items from a Shell Gas Station in the 5100 block of 216th Street.

Some mail thieves allegedly used a pry bar to break open mail boxes in a Langley condo in the early hours of Dec. 20. They made off with the contents, Largy said.

Officers are also looking for a 2015 Kawasaki KLR 650 motorcycle that was stolen during a break in into a business compound in Port Kells sometime in November or December.

Anyone with information on any of these crimes can call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200, or leave an anonymous tip with CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.solvecrime.ca.
