Traffic is slow for motorists heading westbound this morning on Highway 1 between 272nd and 248 Streets. That’s due to an accident that has one car in the median and crews that were working on the left lane at about 264th Street.
Crews have since moved off on to the shoulder and traffic is getting through in both lanes, but heavy volume is still causing delays.
Eastbound on Highway is also slow due to an accident that occurred neared the 208 Street overpass. Traffic is backed up and slow going as crews work to clear the vehicle.
Use caution and expect delays in both directions.
