Langley RCMP look for Christmas mailbox thieves

A man broke into mailboxes on Christmas Day and a man and woman are accused of breaking into two apartment mailboxes on Dec. 27.

Langley RCMP are on the look for the Christmas Day thief.

On Dec. 25, the pictured male was captured on video surveillance as he broke into mailboxes in an apartment building in the 19700 block of 56 Avenue.

Mail theft is still an ongoing problem in Langley. Police have released surveillance footage of two suspects accused of some post-Christmas crime.

The pictured male (foreground) and female are believed to have broken into mailboxes in apartment buildings in the 20800 block of 83 Avenue and the 8200 block of 207A Street on Dec. 27.

At both locations, the keypad to enter the building had been pried open as well as banks of mailboxes.
