The president of Kinder Morgan Canada will be answering questions from some residents of the Langley, Surrey, and the Tri-Cities about the proposed expansion of the Trans Mountain Pipeline on Tuesday evening.
Part of Langley is included in the Sept. 16 event, and most is part of the Sept. 18 phone townhall that includes communities to the east.
The townhalls provide an opportunity for the public to have one-on-one conversations with Ian Anderson.
Only people who have been called and agree to take part in the phone townhalls will be part of the events.
There is no way for other members of the public to call in and be part of the process.

In 2012, Kinder Morgan Canada announced it will move forward with its proposed plans to expand the existing Trans Mountain Pipeline system – between Edmonton and Burnaby.
To date, it has held 88 open houses or workshops and more than 956 meetings between project team members and stakeholder groups.
According to a Kinder Morgan spokesperson, the phone townhalls are one more method to obtain input from the public.
