The three-year-old girl who was airlifted to B.C. Children's Hospital and listed in serious condition after falling from a second floor window of her Walnut Grove home on Tuesday afternoon is improving, say police.
She is out of ICU and in a regular ward, said Langley RCMP Sgt. Ravi Pawar.
Around 3:30 p.m., the toddler allegedly fell from the window, landing on her head on the concrete below. The fire crews to first arrive at the home in the 9400 block of 213 Street reported that she was conscious and breathing.
A child has been airlifted to hospital after falling from the third storey of an apartment building in Surrey on Thursday.
Police confirmed a five-year-old boy was injured after the fall. While they initially thought the fall was from a window, it's unclear whether it was a window or balcony.
