Township residents can have their say on the plans for one of the remaining undeveloped areas of Willoughby next week.
On June 14 from 4 to 8 p.m., Langley Township will hold an open house on the Williams neighbourhood, just over 100 hectares from 212th Street to 216th Street, and from the Trans Canada Highway south to 76th Avenue.
Williams is being planned in conjunction with the construction of the 216th street overpass and interchange. The long-planned link over the highway has proved controversial with Walnut Grove residents to the north.
Williams could also be unusual because it may include commercial and industrial lands near the overpass, buffered from residential areas to the south and west by green belts.
The open house will be held at the Langley Events Centre’s banquet hall, at 7888 200th Street.
