Three men fled a vehicle trying to take them to court-ordered drug rehab. The men escaped near Langley Secondary Wednesday, causing the school site to go into temporary lockdown.

Like the lyrics from the Amy Winehouse song Rehab, three men who were court-ordered into drug rehab clearly "won't go, go, go" on Wednesday.

Around 3 p.m., three men who were being transported from jail to drug rehab jumped out of the vehicle they were in near Langley Secondary, causing a Code Yellow lockdown of the school. Not many students were around but the property also houses the Langley Education Centre which was also put on lockdown.

Three men had been released from Surrey Pretrial jail with a condition they reside at Vision Quest in Chilliwack, said Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Largy.

While being transported by a Vision Quest staff member, the three men all jumped out of the vehicle and ran in the area of 216 and Glover Road, she said.

They ran near LSS and the principal ordered a lockdown, said Largy. Two of the suspects were apprehended by Langley officers quickly and have been held in custody.  A warrant will be issued for the third man who remains at large.

The lockdown was lifted by 3:45 p.m.
