An RCMP officer and a Langley City Fire investigator look over the scene of a second-floor balcony fire Tuesday afternoon near 56 Avenue and 199 Street.
Damage was relatively minor and no one was hurt in the blaze, which apparently started in a planter when no one was home.
The fire department averages about six planter fires every year, usually the result of someone using them as an ashtray.
