A 27-year-old Langley man was sentenced to 10 months in jail followed by three years probation for distributing and importing child pornography.
Sean David McIntyre was also given six months in jail and three years probation for accessing child pornography in Surrey Provincial Court on Friday.
He was also sentenced to 10 months for distributing child porn that same day.
The charges stem back to January 2012. He was also given a 10 year ban under Criminal Code Section 161, that prohibits him from going to parks, playgrounds, schools and community centres. It also bans him from trying to gain employment involving children for 10 years. It also bans him from using the Internet.
McIntyre was back in court on April 21 for new charges of making child pornography on Feb. 12 of this year.
He is also charged with importing and possessing child porn (laid on Sept. 26, 2014.) He is facing breaching his conditions and accessing child porn on Christmas Day, 2014.
It was in March when an investigation by the BC Integrated Child Exploitation unit and the Integrated Sexual Predator Observation Team, with assistance by the Langley RCMP, led to the most recent arrest of McIntyre.
