VIDEO: Vehicle crashes into Langley store

Fire and ambulance called to scene

An SUV crashed through the entrance to the Dollar Tree store near the 19800 block of Willowbrook Drive in Langley this morning around 9:30 a.m.

“It was so loud initially it sounded like an earthquake,” said Robin Mossop, who was inside the store when the crash happened.

“The glass shattered and the shelves shook. The staff was very shaken up, but thank goodness nobody was in the way. The car hit a few shelves but the biggest mess was from the glass.”

The driver, an older woman, appeared shaken up but was able to walk away, Mossop said.

Fire and ambulance units were called to the scene.

There were no immediate reports of serious injuries.
