Woman accused of stealing $40K from Langley victim

Police have released a photo of the suspect who went to three different banks impersonating the victim.

This woman is accused of stealing $40,000 from a Langley resident's bank account by impersonating the victim.

A woman impersonating a Langley resident managed to steal $40,000 from that person's bank account in three days in late April.

It's alleged the woman pictured here impersonated the victim and withdrew nearly $40,000 from that victim's account. She went to several banks across Metro Vancouver, including in Langley, to withdraw the money, said Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Largy.
