Woman falls from second storey window of Langley City apartment

Police not sure if victim fell or was pushed

Langley RCMP’s serious crime section is investigating after a 55-year-old woman plunged from the second storey window of a Langley City apartment on Tuesday morning.

Emergency responders were called to the apartment in the 20200 block of 56 Avenue around 3 a.m., said Langley RCMP spokesperson Const. Craig van Herk.

The woman suffered serious injuries and was taken by Air Ambulance, which landed near the Army and Navy parking lot.

“At this point we don’t know what happened and we are conducting interviews trying to determine if this was an accident, on purpose or if she was pushed,” said van Herk.

Some witnesses were being unco-operative, said police.

The victim is not in any condition yet to complete a full interview with police, he said.
