Woman sought in $5,000 Langley bank fraud

Police say a woman used false identification to withdraw the funds from another person's account

Langley RCMP have released a surveillance image of a woman they believe withdrew $5,000 from another person's bank account using false identification on May 5.

Police allege the woman in this photo may have withdrawn thousands of dollars from someone else's bank account.

The pictured female is alleged to have produced false identification and before withdrawing $5,000 from a bank account that was not her own. The incident happened on May 5 in Langley.

Anyone with information that might assist police with the investigation is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200. To remain anonymous, call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
