Would-be sushi robber chased away in Langley

Police have released a sketch of a skinny man who attempted to rob Ko's Sushi at knifepoint.

This police sketch is of a man wanted for an attempted robbery at a sushi restaurant in Murrayville.

Langley police are releasing a sketch of a suspect who robbed Ko's Sushi in Murrayville at knifepoint on May 20.

The suspect entered the restaurant at closing time, at 9 p.m, displayed a large knife and told the employee to give him the money.  The employee called for the manager and the suspect fled the restaurant. The manager chased him west on 48 Avenue towards 219 Street but was unable to catch him.

An employee from the restaurant was able to work with a sketch artist and a composite has been created.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his 20s, with a skinny build.  He was wearing a dark toque, sunglasses, a dark hoodie, and grey shorts.
