It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Jimmy. He passed away peacefully at MSA Hospital in Abbotsford with family at his bedside after a short battle with pneumonia.

(predeceased by his only other sibling, a sister Joy (Jim) San Severino of Vancouver in 1980.), and a niece Faith San Severino, and nephews Vicent San Severino and Clay Evans.

Jimmy was born in Edmonton, Alberta, living just outside in the town of Duffield until his family moved to Vancouver when he was a young boy. He served in the Army in WWII and met his wife Jean in 1958. They married in 1959 and made their home in Vancouver until 1973 when they moved to Delta for a short time, finally deciding on the wide-open spaces of Langley.

He will be sadly missed, not only by his family but by all who knew him, as he was a most caring and generous soul. His family appreciates the outstanding and compassionate care that Jimmy received for the ICU staff at MSA Hospital nd the thoughfulness, kind words, and hugs that were expressed by them. They thank you from the bottom of their hearts.

There will be a Requiem Mass in the chapel at the Gardens Of Gethsemini, 15800-32nd Ave. Surrey, B.C. on Tuesday, April 26 at 10 a.m. followed by interment.
