Barry Chew Sr, 80, of Langley, BC passed away peacefully in his sleep on Oct. 15, 2018.
Barry is survived by his wife Lillian of 41 years, daughter Lisa Chew, sons Raymond (Amy) Chew and Barry (Zen) Chew, grandchildren Tia, Sierra and Connor, brother Colin (Edith) Chew, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his brother Ray (Helen) Chew. Barry was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Barry loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisher, sailor and traveler. He had many amazing adventures with his wife and family over his long life. Barry loved time with his family (especially his grandchildren), a good sudoku, a walk anywhere near the water and was passionate about following World Rugby, ever loyal to England's National Side.
Barry will be remembered as a gregarious charmer with a sharp sense of humour and a love of wine. Barry served in the Royal Army Medical Corps as a Nursing Orderly in Cyprus.
As per Barry's request there will be no service.
