Born on Aug 12, 1929 entered into rest on Feb 10, 2010 in Langley. Predeceased by husband Douglas; Sister Doreen Tippitt and Brother Micky Dowling. Bernice is survived by Children Dawne (Ian) and John (Barb); Grandchildren Spencer and Sterling; niece Cathi Rymerson; nephew Tom Dowling as well as many dear friends and neighbors. Bernice had a great love for music, horses and was a very gifted Violinist who took pride in community involvement and will forever be loved and cherished by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church at 20675 - 87th Ave. in Langley, BC. Prayers taking place March 1, 2010 @ 5:30 pm with Mass to be celebrated the following day March 2, 2010 @ 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, Donations in Memory of Bernice may be made to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley in School Mentoring Program.
