HALL, Bessie Violet (nee Collins)
Bessie was born in Monkston Newfoundland on May 22, 1917 and passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010 at the age of 92 after two weeks of illness. Bessie was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother. Her loving and giving can never be replaced. Bessie lived in Fort Langley for the last 34 years and the last 5 years at Simpson Manor in Fort Langley where she had such tender loving care from the staff. Bessie was a Minister's Wife of the church of the Nazarene at St. Thomas, Toronto Bethel Ottawa, Ontario, Guilford, Langley and Maple Ridge, B.C. In her later years, mom touched hearts with her tenderness and sense of humor. Predeceased by her husband Reverend S. Roy G. Hall, her son S. Roy G. Hall Jr. Bessie was survived be her children Betty (Glynn), Victoria (Joan) and Sharon (Bob) and her grandchildren David (Wendy), Elizabeth (Gabriel), Stephen (Stephanie), Alison (Chris), Catherine, Meredith (Damon), Crystal (Steward), Royce, Kristina, Robbie, Rachaelle and her great-grandchildren Joshua, Christian, Ava, Tyson, Clarissa, Edwin, Connor, George, Christopher Roy, Charles and Sebastian.
Viewing at Personal Alternative Funeral Services on Wednesday, March 3 from 5 - 7 pm at 3070-275A Street, Aldergrove, B.C. A Celebration Service of Bessie's life will be held at the Guilford Church of the Nazarene, 9012-160 Street, Surrey at 1:00pm Thursday, March 4, 2010. Tea to follow.
