Daughter of Jack Abel and Sarah Florence Macarthy and born in Dubuc Saskatchewan, she spent the majority of her younger years there and Melville. Moved to BC in the 60's she re-married the love of her life Gordon Eugene Smythe who died in 1985. She has finally been placed beside her loving husband. She had 1 daughter Patricia Diane (deceased) from her first husband Victor who has since passed away. She is survived by 3 grandsons, Phillip, John, Trevor, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was a quick-witted and fun loving person all her life and had many friends through her journey. We all will miss her. Her funeral service is on Saturday Dec 11th 2010. Viewing is at 1pm followed by her funeral service at 2pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home 2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford, 2310 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford, BC.
