Darcy Richard Hall quietly passed away at Hospice Austin's Christopher House in Austin, TX on January 24, 2024.
He is survived by his wife Donna-Mae, his sister Patti, his children: Sarah, Kurtis (Natalie) and their children Madelyn and Emmett. Tracy & family and Richelle & family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Irene and Dick Hall.
Darcy was always an entrepreneur at heart and ran a small construction business in Lacombe for a number of years before working for Travco in Nisku. He moved to and worked in Antofagasta Chile for just over a year and finally settled in Texas where he worked for Atco Structures in Diboll, Tx.
Later Darcy and a partner started up a Modular Manufacturing Company in Waco, TX which he stayed with until retiring about 2 years ago.
He and his wife recently moved to a small acreage outside Austin, TX where he has been enjoying the quiet outdoor lifestyle. He enjoyed time with his family, watching sporting events, traveling, camping, taking daily walks, watching the hummingbirds on their back patio while waiting for the evening sun to set.
We will all miss him and his great sense of humor dearly.
As per Darcy's request, no funeral or memorial services will be held. Donations can be made in Darcy's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
