With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of David Kevin Rice on May 18th, 2018 in Abbotsford, BC after a short battle with cancer.
David was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on June 14th, 1950. The youngest son of the Winnifred "Winnie" (nee Clay) Rice and the late detective Earl W. Rice. Besides his wife Gloria Rice (nee Jenkins), he is survived by his mother Winnifred Rice, sons Jason & Ryan Rice, step daughters Ashley and Hayley, brothers Gary & Wayne, grandchildren Nicole, Jonah, Skylar, and several nieces & nephews.
David was predeceased by his older brother Earl. A true maritimer, David was one of the original "LBR Rink Rats". He influenced and touched people everywhere he went, more than he ever could have imagined.
A very good man with the highest of ethics, David was there for his friends at the drop of a hat. His smile and humour will be greatly missed by all.
